About

The human body is the foundation of my work. I see it as something fragile, yet elastic. Through my lens, I explore nudity and the body’s movement. Photography allows me to fragment the body and capture these “in-between” forms — moments where the body becomes something universal and intangible.

A key part of my practice is transformation. It begins as an intention and unfolds after the initial act of making. By physically layering and merging images, I create new, unfamiliar forms: bodies that resist fixed categories and defy expectations.

I explore how fragility and physicality can be expressed in a tactile way. In this, I experiment with materials like textiles, which help me question the boundaries between covering and revealing. Through this process, I explore new ways of experiencing the body — as something changeable, performative, and expressive.

I. We’re all born naked

We’re All Born Naked explores the pursuit of expressive freedom, the breaking away from expectations, and the unlearning of shame.

Through self-portraiture and performance, this project is a search for my most liberated, ultimate self — an identity unbound by norms, societal expectations, or internalized shame. The studio becomes my safe, secluded space — a setting free from audience and judgment. Here, the self-portrait becomes performance: a stage for metamorphosis, experimentation, and resistance.

By presenting myself in shifting forms, I give space to aspects of my identity that I had previously repressed. Alongside photography, I incorporate video and textiles into this project. Using textiles as a medium allows me not only to explore the dynamics of concealment and revelation, but also to give tangible form to the fragility of the body.

This interplay of image and material invites reflection on how we perceive ourselves — and how we wish to be seen.

II. Embodie(s)

This publication explores how the male body is often represented through a singular, idealized type.

By focusing on a variety of body types and shapes, and merging them both physically and digitally, I show that bodies no longer fit into a single mold.

Through cutting, layering, and reassembling photographic imagery, I seek out new combinations and configurations of the body.
I create new forms and playfully reconstruct the image of physical masculinity.

III. PICK YOUR TRIBE!

PICK YOUR TRIBE!
focuses on labels within the gay community. The so-called "gay tribes" are used to categorize people based on shared physical—and especially bodily—features. The emphasis often lies on sex and anonymity.

This project offers a critical perspective on the use of these labels and the accompanying sexualization.

What happens when we blur the boundaries of these tribes?
Can we begin to truly see one another?

This woven work invites you to step outsi
de of categories and to seek deeper connection.

IIII. Revival

Revival is a video installation in which I explore my sense of movement and space through my body. The video captures how, through movement and dance, I investigate my physical and mental freedom, testing boundaries and seeking to expand them.

This project is about allowing yourself to take up more space, a gesture of self-acceptance and a step toward greater self-love.

A transparent thread curtain plays a central role in the work. It allows me to explore visibility, inviting the viewer to witness—and become part of a process that is often experienced as intimate or solitary.
